Roots

Root is inborn in us and it is very hard to change it. People who want to change it is to intermarriage with other races and the product is the mixture of the parents, like White and African.

The danger of the mixture is that it might get lost and discarded. An example is the descendants of the famous Siamese twin. Most of them are now more White in appearance than Thai. Also I don't know how many of them are direct descendants from the forefather paternally. My assumption is that after the 3rd generation, the paternality link will be lost, that is to say only girls are born. So the direct Thai paternality root is no more.

I want to highlight the case of Peraknakan in Singapore. This group is going to be a lost race. They are Straits born Chinese, some whose forefathers might have gone to Malacca after Admiral Cheng Ho made known Malacca to the Chinese in China during the Ming dynasty. The modern day Peraknakans are mostly Christian or Catholic and their behavior is getting more Western. I give an example of my wife's brother funeral. His son and daughter did not follow Chinese custom to wear the colouring of ranks during the funeral, so outsiders cannot know the relationship of the mourners to the dead. Usually there are black, blue, red plus blue and green etc to differentiate the kinship related to the dead.

They don't speak Chinese and most communicate in English or Malay with their elders. They take Malay as a 2nd language and despise other Chinese as low class, the common name is 'cheena'. In the 1st place, Peraknakan are Chinese and by calling their fellow Chinese 'cheena', they are indirectly using a hammer to knock their own heads. 'Cheena' is the same as what Malays call the Chinese, the spelling might be slightly different. Their roots are Chinese, so by putting a nick name on other Chinese, they are hammering their own heads.

In America, the Africans are a lost race or rootless race. They embrace Western culture and forgotten their African roots. They can only be saved if they have deep religious belief. If not, they can be easily discarded by the natural processes of Nature to root out rootless people.

Many americans are of mixed races. This is a danger for America because the future descendants of these people might be cut. So the only hope is for immigrants to take up the places in American society. In the end, American can be a land of the Hispanic or the Asian races. The White and the Africans might be reduced to a few.

So for a man who wants to have a string of descendants, he has to make sure his son marries a woman of his own race.
