You can see most countries with executive presidents/kings are not so stable. America is a living example. American society is rotten to the core. They spend so much money just to choose a new president every year. The amount spent can save billions of poor people.
President of Timor Leste was shot and now in hospital. A new country but violence prone. Is it better now then when it was under Indonesian rule ? Sp democracy is breeding more violence ?
Just look at Afghanistan. Is it any better ? With 45,000 foreign troops, the country is still suffering. Can foreign soldiers solve their problems ?
Their neighbour is in a mess also. Pakistan was once having not active president. But the military did not favour the rulers, so many are toppled. Prime minister was sacked. Prime minister was charged for corruption. All these were initiated by the military generals to hold on power. So where is democracy. Constitution was amended to have executive president under the former general holding power.
This is not good. The fighting in Afghanistan will come over to Pakistan if they do not amend their constitution for an appointed president without political power, just like in India. Although this is still inperfect, the country is still stable in a way.
So for peace to come to Afghanistan, Pakistan, Timor Leste, Palestine etc, country constitution has to be amended to have an appointed president without any political power.
Likewise, for a prosperous America, it has to amend its constitution to have an appointed president without power.
My words are like swords. They can slaughter. Or they are my iron rod that is to whack disobedient people into submission. Nature will be responsible for doing destruction on behalf of my action.

CPF

Meddling the rules in CPF can only make things worst for Singapore. The PAP government thinks they are good for Singaporeans, but the truth is the reverse.
To make Singaporeans to wake up, the government should make institutions like hospital, prisons, drug addict centres, old folk homes etc provide compulsory vegetarian food. This is a psychological warfare to right the minds of Singaporeans.
By amending retirement age, make compulsory annuity to save for old age thinking Singaporeans are stupid, the PAP government is done for. Expect fewer votes for the next general election.
To help the lowest 30% of Singaporeans, it is frugality that is the key word. HDB should provide homes with no improvement internally, so home price will be lowered. By making home so expensive for the average people, people tend to spend, go for higher standard of living, overspending on themselves and furnishing their home expensively. Majority are on debt. Mortgage debt, credit card debt, installment debt for car, home appliances, furnishing etc.
Singapore is not Switzerland. To have a stand of Switzerland, we need to be graceful and of a uniform race stolk. Singaporeans are of yellow, brown and dark skinned people, so unifying them is a bit troublesome. Swiss are mainly Europeans. You PAP leaders are stupid if you cannot recognise this difference.
The old age in Japan is due to climate and mono race culture. Can majority of Singaporeans live above 85 years old ? I doubt so. We live in the equator area and is hot and humid all year round. Everyday, my home has to be moped or the dirt will accumulated. This dirt is oily. This shows our air is polluted. So how can we all live above 85 years of age ? Healthy men after running collapsed and died. Their death are telling us the sign that we live in an unhealthy environment. So for more petroleum and chemical plants to expand, this is not good for the health of Singaporeans. Already the expelled smoke from the ships plying in Singapore and the channels around us, are polluting our air, not to mention the smoke from vehicles, the life span of Singaporeans will not be longer or comparable to Japan.

CPF Annuity

I don't know much about annuity which is like an insurance scheme to pay client during their old age till they die. There is no balance to go to the benefactor.
Intention for the scheme is the assumption that Singaporeans will live longer beyond 85. The handful above 85 is low in percentage point. So many people might not like the scheme to be implemented or want opt out clauses for them.
Life and death are natural. The government should not do too much into everyday life of Singaporeans. The teaching of moral is more important. Filiel piety should be promoted. Or else Singaporeans will just be very indivualistic and selfish as they know their parents have enough money for their old age.

Mahathir's Comment On IDR

Yesterday ST carried report of Mahathir's comment on the IDR. It seems he is at loogerhead with Lee Kuan Yew in Malaysia/Singapore relationship during his time as MP, PM and retirement.
He is wrong for suggesting Malaysia do it alone without outside help. The most important is the political stability and economic culture of a country that attract foreign investors. How is Malaysia going to have hugh investment pie with that sort of mentality. What they can achieve will be on investment from Muslim countries and some local established foreign firms. If they want more investment like what China is attracting, they have to sort help from Singapore in this area. Singapore has many overseas venture in this sort of trade.
In the report he also mentioned past disputes with Singapore and the continuation of these disputes unresolved.
He championed the Malay bumiputra course but he does not realise he is an Indian Muslim. So it seem he look upon himself as a Malay rather than an Indian.
His policy has ingrained in Malaysian Malays the attitude of Malay supremacy. This is not right and unfair to other races in Malaysia. It will take sometime for this to settle down and a strong leader to grip Malaysia together in fair treatment to all Malaysian citizens.
Abdullah is a weak leader. Najib could be strong, but I doubt it is an easy task to do away with NEP and Bumiputra policies.

Crackdown On Hawkers

After the TV reporting on illegal hawking of medicines in back lanes in red light districts, the HSA raid the areas and brought back all the medicines for testing.
These hawkers can be seen for the past 40 years of my adult life since 1968 when I started working. In the Jojor Road joint, you can see them, especially I had to take bus from there to Safti. Even going to back lane of Desker Road or Pertain Road, you can still find some of them. They are everywhere that has prostitution dens.
I would like to say is this: why raid after the TV report or news paper report. Don't tell me the HSA do not conduct its own investigation ? Police also patrol these areas. Why they don't take action ?
Are the authority take action only when people complain ?

Workfare
Singapore time 7.55 am 4th September 2007
My wife reported a monthly income of S$500 and got about S$563 for Workfare. Now she received a letter from CPF to top up her CPF fmedisave for WIS on her 6 months salary this year for government top up in medisave for her. Another top up will be next year for the balance 6 months in 2007 to be top up by government medisave later.
The 1st top up is about S$85 and the 2nd top up is about S$170. Total is S$255. After this her Workfare will be just S$308. Is this how PAP government helping the poor ?
Many poor work to supplement home income. How can you expect the poor to come up with cash to top up medisave after sometime when most poor people have used up the Workfare bonus to buy things. It will be much better that the next Workfare can be deducted for the medisave top. What is the point to give people cash and later want cash back from them ?
These government thinkers are real idiots !

My Confucianism

India just elected their first woman president, so for the next 5 years, their fortune is not too rosy.
Next year Americans are going to elect their president. If Nature wants to punish America, IT will make the Americans crazy and they will elect their first woman president.
Just remember what I wrote today and see the answer in future.
I just saw 8 Days on brief details of the TV show Qing Dynasty. The Qing had a boy emperor before they invaded and occupy China. This is application of my Confucianism.
This emperor abdicated or died in absence and pass the throne to his son, only a boy. This boy, I think was Kangxi ruled wisely following his grandfather's dying words to rule the Manchu and Han equally. This is why the Manchu was the longest dynasty in China.

Christopher Lee PR Status

After committing crime Singapore PR will be subjected to review of their PR status. This is a clear cut pressure to PR and new Singapore citizens from other countries to behave properly in Singapore.
So during general election, I think most of these foreign born Singapore citizens will vote for the PAP. There is fear in most of them if their vote is found to be for the opposition. This is unlikely but people are emotional. The episode of Christopher Lee drunken driving court case is striking them in fear.
My advice is this, vote at your own discretion. Voting is secret. If they dare to open the ballot boxes for investigation, then they, the PAP, can be easily toppled. Justice is on the round. The world disasters and climate changes are sign justice is in hand.

Lee Kuan Yew's Imminent Downfall

Signs are there that Lee Kuan Yew is going to fall from disgrace.
1. The building of casinos
2. Ministers pay rise
3. Government is not moral police
Other signs are
1. Temasek trouble in Thailand
2. Inflation is rising
3. Singapore dollar rising
4. Property price is rising
All these show bubble is building up and it might burst anytime.
PAP government knows about economic cycle but they still want to have ministers pay rise. This will add more pressure to the private sector to increase the top management more to retain them. So most things and salary will increase. So how can Singapore compete with other rising developing countries with pay so high ? Therefore foreign investors might relocate elsewhere. Factories close chop and workers retrenched, and we come back to square one.
Singapore dollar rising will make our products more expensive for export. How many foreign investors would like to invest here if the cost of production keeps rising ?
Lee Kuan Yew still do not wise up when I said he had an albino grandson is all due to his sins. He still want to hold on to power, using his son as a front. His family fortune is now very huge and he still don't want to step down. His stubborness will cause him to fall down disgracefully, because his old age will cause him to behave erratically and mentally unsound.

Work Longer To Save For Old Age

This is what Lim Boon Heng said today in the ST report.
How long are we to work to save for old age ? 55 or 62 years old ? We are human beings not animals. Our purpose in coming into this world is to have a decent life and wait for death to come. This is Nature, till the Salvation comes to bring us back.
Life is not about money. It is the quality of life that we lead, that is more important. If we just eat porridge with salted egg and bean sprouts for a meal, that is enough for us to survive. Why must we go for shark fins, abalone, fish, chicken, duck, pork, mutton, beef etc. Is eating these make our life more enjoyable and pleasurable to live ?
My advice is for you to have some money and when you reach 55 years of age, go vegetarian and retire for self cultivation. Self cultivation is for self, for family and the country. Don't think you cultivate is only for yourself. If you have a wife and children, your cultivation will affect them. You can change them for the better without taking any action, just cultivate self.
PAP government want Singaporeans to work, work and work, so the GDP can be higher. They don't care about your health if you have to work 12 hours a day. What they care is that you make more money for the country, ask you to upgrade your house, purchase more new gadgets for your home etc. They value you by how much you are worth, not the quality of life you lead. This is materialism worship.
Try to be yourself. Don't let others pull you by your nose.

Lousy Employer

Singapore government is a lousy employer in the sense they employ army and police personnels etc on contract basis.
Police and army personnels are very important human resources to the country and the PAP government are treating them like dirts, except for the top scholars who holds high rank in the forces. These high ranking officers are put into high profile jobs in government or government related companies like SIA, Singtel etc when they retire around 45 years old. Some are asked to go into politics to serve as ministers when elected.
To the rest, they have to tend for themselves. Most are dis-oriented when they are out of the forces and find adjustment to private life more depressing. Even some go into criminal activities just to make a living.
I suggest the retirement age should be 55 years old since the general retirement age in Singapore is 62 years old. So officers need not have to go through a mid-term crisis in their life. At 55 years old, most are still fit to work if they are required to pass a fitness test annually.
The main problem in the forces is that they rely on qualification to promote an officer. Like my son during his NS service, he was a mortar combat support man in 6 SIR, but was asked to help out in documentation and be a clerk, because he can do work faster than what his clerk or senior clerk can perform. When computer breakdown, he was asked to troubleshoot. He has only 'O' level with about 3 credits. But he was performing duty of a senior clerk. Even now in his reservist training, he was asked to do documentation. What are those senior rank officers doing ? Are they only paper qualified genius but work stupid personnels ?

Appoint Figure Head President

Most people will reject my idea, so the opposite effect will take place. France may get a new elected woman president this year and America might get a new elected president next year. You have seen already, Germany has a new woman prime minister or chancellor. This is indication we are moving into a DOOM or a punishment period whereby you people will wake up. Then you will know I am telling the TRUTH.
For Britain, Thailand and Japan, the head-of-state or king, emperor and queen, have been in the throne for many years. This is not good as the accumulated sins shouldered on them will get more heavy, thereby incurring punishment from Nature or God. To take away these sins on them is for them to abdicate. Only in this way they can reverse the downfall in society as citizens will be more degrading in behavior
I just do my duty to preach my Confucianism as this is the only savior for all countries. It is up to you to accept and adopt my advice. Whatever are going to happen will happen. I cannot stop them.

Government Not Moral Police
This was what PAP said, published in the newspaper yesterday, 23rd Apr 2007.
It is the duty of the government to provide moral conduct for the citizens to follow. If they can say the government is not a moral police, then why ban pornography in the first place ? All the old laws against homosexual activity, adultery etc are still intact in Singapore laws. The PAP government do not amend or abolish them yet, but when applied in court cases, the registrar of court can strike them of the application. This happened when a man applied to sue another for committing adultery with his wife. But the registrar of court struck it off.
So Singapore have laws that cannot be applied or righted. Why don't delete them altogether ? PAP ministers are doing nothing for them ? So they are still first class ministers ?
Homosexuality or gay, lesbian are to be discouraged. Those who are caught in the act should be rehabilitated and not charged in court. They should go through moral class and do meditation, especially mine recorded in below post or in Meditation or Taoist Yoga .

Problem In Singapore
The main problem in Singapore is that Lee Kuan Yew does not want to step down. He cannot let go and retire. This is as if he is the king, so he is waiting till the end to die in office.
What he said about renewal of PAP is all bullshit. It is more likely the case of renewing 'yes-men' in parliament to bow to his demand. Old 'yes-men' can revolt, so have to be kicked out. New 'yes-men' have to play his game along and once they are seasoned and stubborn, they will be kicked out also.
Many important announcement are made by him, not his son, first. The pay increase for ministers was announced by him after the government announced the increase in GST, which is suppose to help the poor also. But I see it as more likely for the ministers' pay rise and senior civil servants pay rise.
To be great is to let go at the opportunity. Yao and Shun abdicated in favour of others than their own son. This is 1 reason they were great. Lee Kuan Yew groomed his son to take over him, but still holding the final say in decision. The reason why God Chok Tong is still around is to stop gossip. If God steps down while Lee Kuan Yew is still mentor minister, then many Singaporeans will curse him.
The elected president law was initiated by him, so he can be president and his son prime minister. However many voices in opposition and my article on Confucianism in Election '97 might have scared him to do so. If he is to be president, he will be subjected to total punishment to him and his family members. See what happened to Ong Teng Cheong after he became president of Singapore.
I advocate a young man, married with at least a son, to be appointed as a figure head president. His main duty is to meditate and eat vegetarian food. Using my meditation in post below is the best.
